When you read the rules and regulations in the EU VAT directive and local info from your tax authority it’s almost impossible to get a clear overview of the system, especially for entrepreneurs with limited VAT knowledge. Hence the need to publish a simplified cheat sheet for VAT from the perspective of an EU-based company.
